I was de-carbing Crème de Menthe and Crème de Cacao, so of course I had to try a classic Grasshopper. It’s a great option for holiday celebrations! 
The taste of this Grasshopper is appealingly light, not cloyingly sweet like the original. I found it perky and refreshing, and I hope you do, too.  
Food pairing: Double Chocolate Chip Cookies from Headbanger’s Kitchen.

  • Put all the ingredients into your shaker with ice and shake well.
  • Strain into a chilled martini glass.
  • Garnish with a little grated nutmeg.
