We've still been having cold weather here in the Pacific Northwest, and with cold and flu (and COVID) rampant, it seems like a good time for a hot toddy. A hot toddy made with brandy, that is. Feel free to substitute the liquor of your choice here. I used Cabernet Barrel Finished brandy from one of my local distillers, Copper Cat. Why not support a local business when I can? Ingredients
- 1½ oz. brandy I like Copper Cat brandy from a local distiller.
- ½ oz. sugar-free honey
- ½ oz. lemon juice
- 4 oz. hot water
Instructions
- Get your water hot and pour it into your coziest mug.
- Add the brandy, sugar-free honey, and lemon juice to the water in your mug.
- Give it all a stir to combine the ingredients.
- Garnish with a slice of lemon.
