I was visiting Copper Cat Distillery in Woodinville, WA one weekend and they were pouring samples of their delicious brandy. I had to bring a bottle home, and then I wanted to come up with something special to do with it. Thus was my Brandy Alexander born. Mmmmm.What could be wrong with brandy, chocolate, and cream? Not a lot, if you ask me. Food pairing: Low Carb Espresso Cookies
- 1½ oz . brandy
- 1 oz. sugar-free dark / brown crème de cacao
- 1 oz. heavy cream
- Put the ingredients into your cocktail shaker with ice.
- Shake it for a good 12 – 15 seconds.
- Strain it into your choice of small cocktail glass and garnish with a little freshly grated nutmeg.
